Pratt & Whitney, Kingfisher ink USD 500 million engine deal
United States aircraft engine maker, Pratt and Whitney has won a USD 500 million deal to power and service a new fleet of Airbus planes of India`s Kingfisher Airlines, reports DNA.Pratt and Whitney signed a deal with Kingfisher in Washington on Monday for installing 10 engines with one spare and an option for an additional 10 engines for the Indian company`s A330 aircraft.
The total transaction is valued at USD 300 million plus an additional USD 200 million if all options are exercised.
