TCS fixes Jan. 23 as record date
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) said Monday that it has fixed January 23, 2007 as the record date for the purpose of payment of third interim dividend.
Recently the company decided to expand its global delivery center in Uruguay to host over 250 personnel. The company undertook this investment to support the rapid expansion of its Latin American business and proactively lower risk for its clients by providing an alternative back up site in Uruguay.TCS already provides services to over 40 clients across Latin America and the United States using its existing global delivery center in Uruguay.
The shares of company were trading down Rs 32.10, or 2.54% at Rs 1230.45 at the BSE. Total volume of shares traded was 169,818 (Monday).
