Kamdhenu Ispat earnings decline for Dec` 06 quarter

Kamdhenu Ispat said that its net profits declined 7.88% for the quarter ended Dec. 2006. During the quarter, the company`s profits decreased to Rs 25.96 million compared with Rs 28.18 million for quarter ended Sep. 2006.

The sales for the quarter rose 10.49% to Rs 709.88 million compared with the quarter ended Sep. 2006.The total income for the quarter rose 10.21% to Rs 711.49 million compared with for quarter ended Sep. 2006.

The diluted EPS for the quarter declined to Rs 1.37 compared with nil earnings per share for quarter ended Sep. 2006.

The shares of company were trading down Rs 0.9, or 2.18%, at Rs 40.45 at the NSE. Total volume of shares traded was 105,634.
