Venus Remedies reports a net high of 48.10% for Dec `06 qtr

Venus Remedies reported a net high 48.10% at Rs 75.22 million for the quarter ending Dec. 2006 as compared with Rs 50.79 million for the quarter ended Dec. 2005.

Net sales for the quarter rose 45.49% to Rs 379.50 million compared with the corresponding quarter, a year ago.Total income stood at Rs 384.91 million for Dec. 2006 quarter.Operating margins increased to 23.31% during the quarter, a rise of 19.43 basis points compared with the corresponding quarter. Net margins, on the other hand, rose from 19.46% to 19.54% during the quarter.The company`s earnings per share on a trailing twelve month basis is Rs. 23.50.
